	Spring Theatre Workshop. April 28, 2012. Ages 5-16. Join us for our first Spring Acting Workshop! Taught by Derby Dinner Playhouse professionals, the workshop will explore the skills of the actor. The morning session will focus on creating characters, storytelling, and acting out tales, and the afternoon session will focus on voice, text, and scripted scene work. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! 	Camp Rapunzel. June 8, 2012. Ages 5-6. A one-day “viewing and doing” summer camp for 5 and 6 year-olds! In celebration of the new Derby Dinner Playhouse musical Rapunzel, join us for a day of fairy tale fun! In the morning, students will watch the professional production of Rapunzel, meet and talk to the cast at an exclusive post-performance talkback, and take a behind the scenes tour of the theatre. After lunch (students bring their own) Derby Dinner Playhouse theatre professionals will teach three classes in which students will learn a song and dance from Rapunzel and get their own Camp Rapunzel t-shirt! 	Summer Musical Theatre Camp. 4 options - July 9-14; July 16-21; July 23-28; July 30-August 4, 2012. Ages 7-16. $175. Derby Dinner Playhouse Summer Musical Theatre Camp is a one-week performing arts camp for students ages 7-16 exploring drama, music, and dance. Taught by Derby Dinner Playhouse theatre professionals and focusing on creative dramatics and scenes, songs, and dance from Broadway musicals, the camp culminates in a final sharing on the Playhouse stage. (In past seasons, many camp students have gone on to be cast in young actor roles in Derby Dinner Playhouse’s professional productions.) REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! 	Professional Development for Teachers The professionals in the Derby Dinner Playhouse Education Department offer this adaptable workshop in which they come to your school and train teachers on incorporating theatre arts into the classroom.
